Coaches:

Pete Walker – (picture to come) Pete Walker has been involved with gymnastics in the state of Virginia for the past 20 years. He competed for Gymstrada Gymnastics (Va. Beach) through high school, and attended the College of William and Mary on a gymnastics scholarship, becoming team captain his junior and senior years. His crowning achievements as a gymnast are: 1992 Virginia State Collegiate All-Around Champion and the 1992 Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC), All-Around Champion. Pete Walker earned is B.A. in Elementary Education and in Spanish from William and Mary and has been the William and Mary Men’s Assistant Gymnastics coach and the Director of Williamsburg Gymnastics since 1997. The success of his coaching career can be seen through the many accomplishments of our competitive teams. The Williamsburg Gymnastics Level 8 Boys Team took 1st place at the state meet in 2005; our Level 4 Girls Team took 4th place at the 2006 State Meet in the small clubs division, as well as, numerous top place finalists in individual events from both the boys and girls teams at their respective state meets. 2006 was a banner year for Pete, where he was selected as the NCAA Eastern Region and ECAC Assistant Coach of the year. Pete resides in Williamsburg with his wife Cindy and daughter Emma Jane.

Dana Babischkin - (picture to come) Dana has been with Williamsburg Gymnastics for 1 and half years. She has competed for 13 years in Gymnastics and has dance experience which is a huge asset for our girl’s team. Dana was the level 8 Uneven Bars State Champion for Florida and has competed at Regionals for levels 8 & 9 in Florida. She competed for the University of Bridgeport, coached at American Twisters Gymnastics Academy in Florida and at the Southside Ballet Studio in Smithfield.
Natalie Conway - (picture to come) Natalie is originally from Ohio where she began her gymnastics career. Her crowning competitive achievement was becoming the 1982 Ohio State All-Around and Vault champion. Natalie has coached gymnastics in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Virginia. Natalie attended Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania where she earned a B.S. in Allied Health and became a certified Athletic Trainer. She went on to obtain her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. She is currently a Clinical Director with Tidewater Physical Therapy. Natalie is married to Todd Conway, has 3 beautiful children; Mikey(11), Peter(8), and Kayleigh(4), and lives in Williamsburg.
